Gerald Zaidman, MD
A diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Zaidman specializes in cornea and external diseases including corneal transplants, LASIK surgery and refractive surgery. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, NY, before completing his residency in ophthalmology at Beth Abraham Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, also in NY.
Dr. Zaidman has been affiliated with Westchester Medical Center since 1986. He has office hours at Mahopac Ophthalmology once a month, on a Wednesday evening.
Howard Charles, M.D.
Board-certified in Ophthalmology, Dr. Howard Charles specializes in vitreo retinal disease and surgery. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, followed by a residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He is affiliated with Putnam Hospital Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.
Dennis A. Pastena, M.D.
A diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Pastena specializes in Non-surgical Facial Rejuvenation.
Dr. Pastena received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University. He earned his MD degree at Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine. He did his general surgery residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital of New York, and completed his plastic surgery training at Downstate Medical Center-King’s County Hospital.
Dr. Pastena has been in private practice since 1978, and is a member of the faculty at the in The Institute of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital Center, in Mount Kisco, New York. He is affiliated with Putnam Hospital Center.
He has office hours at Mahopac Ophthalmology twice a month, on Friday mornings.
